MANAGEMENT TEAM

RAHUL SHETTY - MANAGING PARTNER

Over 14 years’ experience in investment banking and real estate. Prior to Optimus, Rahul was an investment banker with bulge bracket banks such as Lehman Brothers, Nomura, and Barclays. He has raised £30m of investments from the UK for investments into Indian real estate. He previously managed a commercial real estate portfolio in the UK for a family office. He is a Duke University alumni and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.

HARSH ADHOLIYA - MANAGING PARTNER

Harsh has over 15 years of experience in diverse industry domains including Real Estate, Finance & IT and has worked in the UK and India with global corporations such as ABN AMRO, Convergys, and Wipro. Prior to Optimus, he worked with HDFC in the UK managing their multi-million-pound loan book for over 8 years. He previously managed a mezzanine and new builds portfolio in the UK for an overseas family office.

ABHAY AHUJA - MANAGING PARTNER, MIDDLE EAST

With over 16 years of experience in strategic advisory, real estate, and hospitality, Abhay brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Prior to joining Optimus, he established a boutique advisory firm dedicated to providing impartial and expert guidance to large and mid-sized real estate companies. Over the past three years, Abhay has successfully closed deals exceeding $50 million, unlocking tangible value across more than 2.5 million square feet of real estate. Abhay is an alumnus of Ecole Les Roches, School of Hospitality Management, Switzerland, He also completed his higher education at Millfield School, England, where he represented the school at the national level in cricket, squash, and shooting.

JULIAN EDWARDS - NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Over 40 years of experience in real estate having run investment and development Companies in the UK, USA, and Europe. He was Managing Director of Tishman International Group of Companies. He has managed over five million square feet of commercial properties in the UK, acquired nearly £2b of office investments in the UK, undertaken over 2 million square feet of development and refurbishment in the UK and Ireland, and has raised more than £1.5b of debt financing.
